Welcome to Department of Physics, Sripat Singh College

The department started its joueney back in 1974 with introduction of U.G. general science course. In the year of 1988, the department started offering honours course in Physics. Since then, the department has grown rapidly and is now considered one of the coveted physice department for U.G. study in west bengal. Prsently, physics department offers both U.G. honours and U.G. general course in physics as per the syllabus of university of Kalyani. The department runs three well equipped laboratories which have been upgrraded for newly introduced CBCS curriculam, One computer Laboratory, and one smart class-room.
