Dr. Ananya Mukherjee
About
Dr. Ananya Mukherjee has completed her doctoral research from the Department of English, University of Raiganj. She is presently teaching in the Department of English, Sripat Singh College, Jiaganj, Murshidabad. Her areas of research interest include War Literature, Partition Literature, Border Studies, Film Studies, Gender Studies and Post-Colonial Literature. She has presented papers in several National and International seminars and conferences to date. She has written several articles and book chapters. She has authored a P.G. module on American literature under UGC e-Pathsala which is a part of the MoE (Ministry of Education) programme by the Government of India. She is also the co-editor of the book Body Politics: Rethinking Gender and Masculinity which has been catalogued in the Main Library of the University of Edinburgh. This volume engages with the current developements in the field of Masculinity Studies and diversifies the issues of gender and masculinity. She is currently co-editing Climate Fiction: Ecological Dimensions which offers an introspective gaze into intersections of literature, film and ecology to recognise how fiction mediates Anthropocene.
